NetNut & Scrapoxy
Recently, @ebremler and @fabienv did webinars displaying the Scrapoxy integration with NetNut solutions.
I watched the webinar and enjoyed the demonstration and the seamless integration between Scrapoxy and NetNut solutions.
Scrapoxy
Scrapoxy is a proxy aggregator that lets you manage all your proxies in one place instead of using multiple scrapers. It also intelligently routes traffic to minimize bans and improve success rates.
Scrapoxy is an open-source project started by @fabienv. It is easy to use, allows users smooth onboarding, saves time, and integrates with many proxy providers.
Scrapoxy is quite popular, with 1.9K stars and 228 forks on GitHub.
Why is it positive for NetNut?
Open-source projects developed around providers' solutions, such as NetNut, are a positive indicator of the high demand and usage of the industry's needs for NetNut services.
Partnerships with Open-Sources
The partnership between NetNut and @fabienv is also essential for both sides, allowing smooth integration with the provider on one hand and smooth integration and usage for the end customers.
It also places NetNut in a leading position, with other solutions and add-ons developed around their solutions.
While a patent does not protect the solution in an open-source project, the proxy provider provides the core of the solution.
Moat (?)
The end customers can develop an alternative solution, but it takes time. @fabienv began his project in 2016.
Theoretically, NetNut infrastructure can be replicated. There are risks and competition in this business. Proxies and scrapers have been available for quite some time. However, developing a reliable, fast, and stable solution with widespread data centers, IPs, and proxies in a short time takes work.
This leads the customer to work with such providers and focus on their primary business, allowing others to deliver a reliable solution for the proxies.
Holding, not a recommendation.
